Brimin is an athlete who started serious training in 1999 at the end of the Primary School. He attended Kipsoen Highschool were he passed exams in October 2003. He associated himself with Global Sports but decided to stay in school and develop slowly.
After his exams he started to train under the supervision of Patrick Sang and Joseph Chelimo. Among his trainingpartners are Richard Limo, Eliud Kipchoge, Enock Koech and Reuben Kosgei. He represented Kenya in the African Junior Championships in 2003. He finished 2nd behind the Ethiopian Abraham Kebeto. He surprised the world on his European debut. Winning both a 1500m in Nijmegen and the 3000mSt of the GP1 in Hengelo. He will now run the Kenyan junior trials (1500m) and the Olympic Trials (3000mSt.).
