INEOS 1:59 Challenge

On October 12, 2019 Eliud Kipchoge became the first person ever to run the marathon in under 2 hours. Our 15+ year partnership with Eliud reached the ultimate pinnacle on the streets of Vienna when Kipchoge crossed the line after 1 hour, 59 minutes and 40 seconds.

A lot went into breaking the last great milestone in Athletics and together with our incredible partner INEOS, as well as many others,  we orchestrated the event and built up towards this monumental performance. Our expertise was used in athlete performance and preparation, event marketing and content creation, broadcasting and media as well as planning and logistics. 

400+ million people watched Eliud write history on that day in October.
